New member - Hello!

Hi everyone,

Just want to introduce myself. I am Zahid, 28 yr old male from Luton, and have taken up photography as a hobby about a year ago while I was living in Stafford. Since then I have really enjoyed it. Theres just something so peaceful and satisfying about taking a good shot. Its a feeling that beats all other feelings! I started off with a Canon 450D and kit lens which was great but recently (last month) upgraded to a 50D and 17-55mm f2.8 lens which is just sublime. I also own a 430ex2 flash. I have also recently bought a 60mm canon macro lens which I tried out on a recent trip to Kew Gardens. I am getting more into photoshop and the whole post processing side of photography. I really love it!

Im looking forward to going through these forms. This seems so useful for someone like me who is still learning all the time and for photographers of all skill levels to come together and share knowledge.

Yup, living in Saudi right now; not least because I am Saudi

Qatar & UAE, how did you find these two? I believe Qatar to be more conservative compared to UAE; but I've never lived there, only visited for work.

Yea Doha was much more conservative than Dubai.. I pretty much grew up in those 2 places and did my entire schooling there. 18 years of my life! Been in the UK for just 10 years. I really miss the middle east.. Lovely people, great food.. fine weather.. and amazing architecture. (specially in dubai)
