Hi everybody, taken lots of "snaps" in the past. Now that I've retired I'm hoping to take it more seriously. Interested in scapes (land, sea and sky), architecture, and I'd like to have a go at night photography. Lots to learn, and I'll no doubt have plenty of disasters on the way. My son is a keen photographer, so I have my own personal tutor (bet he wished he'd never volunteered).
 
Hi Dave, thanks for the welcome. Using a Canon 20D with kit lenses (son's recommendation). Spent all day last Sunday twiddling with knobs, switches and buttons to see what happens, I've really got a huge amount of learning to do.
