New Member From Leicester

Hi my name is Craig,

I have recently purchased my first DSLR Camera, Its a Canon 600D.

I cant wait to get out this weekend and start taking some pictures. My main interestes are Motorsport and Sports.

I intend on gaining experience at my local race track which is Mallory Park and also being a Leicester Tigers fan i shall no doubt be taking my camera along with me on match days to capture some of the action.

If anyone can recommend a few threads that I should read, that would be most appreciated.

Nice camera choice, what lenses have you gone for?

Alright Joe.

Yeah the EP3 is still going strong mate.

I have the 18-55mm Zoom Lens + TAMRON Di-IILD 55-200mm f/4.0-5.6 Macro Zoom Lens
Its all changed since i did GCSE Photography at college some 10Yrs + ago.

Im going to get out and get snapping this weekend.
I have also ordered a few books from Amazon, including The Dummies Guide to the Canon 600D

Im more of a hands on learner to be honest, but these books look like they will be a great help along the way.

Hi Craig.

As a fellow fairly new photographer I was also looking at the 600d and it's rival the Nikon d5100.
How are you getting on with the 600d as an entry level dslr. I know a lot of people prefer the nikons and have read many articles about them but be nice to know what someone thinks of the 600d.
