Hey everyone, just registered and thought I would put my first post up and say hi.

I currently own a Nikon D90 with the 18-105 VR kit and am currently doing a course on Photography which is good as it keeps me away from a computer for the time being (My main job!) :thinking:
 
Thanks Mark, actually come to Plymouth quite regularly as we have a branch office there lol, will be sure to wave :wave:

Definately some great locations down here, such as Kennel Vale Woods, Gwithian, Godrevy, Chapel Porth.

Love to take shots on the beach or general coastal area, tried a bit of portrait but still learning on that aspect of things as well as general landscape scenery.

Steve, I'm doing an intermediate course at Cornwall College in the evenings, been very interesting so far although need to look at what direction to go in once I've completed that course.

I grew up in Cornwall so very jealous that you can go capture the best coastal shots around.

Gwithian is just the best place on this planet for me. When i visit I have to go there first no matter what.

You can't really beat Gwithian for some amazing photo opportunities, the image below was from a couple of months back, and before anybody comments, the focus is meant to be that way lol, I was experimenting :)

I wasn't going to comment negatively on the focus, but rather how well done I thought it was, a really well crafted photo.
 
great photo neil, im down your way in a few weeks stopping at a friends in newquay, hoping to get out with the camera a few times, if have time could maybe meet up for a shoot.

Hey all, thank you all for the warm welcome!

Andy, hooking up for a shoot would be great, same goes for anyone else who's in the area as it's always great to see other peoples styles and generally have a laugh :)
