Hi everyone, hope you can help. I've a Canon 450DS and a Sigma EF-530DG Super. I want to get started with off camera flash and am getting confused with what's compatible and what features I can or can't use with 3rd party equipment. It looks like a PT04 unit will get me started relatively cheaply - am I wasting my time on this?
Is a trigger worth it when I can use my pop-up flash to trip the sigma?
There seem to be a lot of "experts" out there but I guess everyone has different expectations from their kit so if you can help from a beginner's point of view that would be great! Thanks
