Hello all,

I've been a member of a few photography forums, and I figured I'd give this one a try. Seems like a nice community.

I primarily shoot weddings and portraiture, and know quite a bit about Canon equipment. I am looking forward to participating regularly and helping out where I can. If you'd like to visit my website, you can go to tylerdrummphoto.com

Thanks all!

Hello. It is a nice website you have. I shall definitely book you for my wedding... One day... When I find a guy... Still looking... Hope you're still available in 50 years time. But they are nice! Good luck to you :)

Thank you Rosie. That's very kind of you. I'm only 24, so it's quite possible that I'll be able to shoot your wedding in 50 years. Cheers! :)

Just looked at your website.. Wow! And for 24 years of age. Im 23 and your in a completely different league to me, I'm still starting out.

How did you get to where you are today? Very impressive, you should be proud!

Thank you very much for your kind words. I started out designing a local newspaper, and then decided that I wanted to take photos for them as well. So I started back when I was 18 or 19 and bought a Sony A200. Used it for a year or two but didn't really "get" what I was doing. I then started doing a lot of reading, switched to Canon and just plain ol' practiced. I prefer the aesthetic appeal of prime lenses, so that is the only "flavor" of lens I shoot with.

It took me a long time and some hiccups along the way, but if you dedicate time and effort to improving your craft, you will notice the improvement. If you have any questions or inquiries as to how I got a particular shot, feel free to ask. :)

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I'll be posting!
