wow amazing!
I have this camera too and I'm just learning but I would like to photograph animals but all my pictures come out blurry at their slightest movement and I still do not understand all the settings.
please can you help?

I also have this camera just watching some lens's on eBay to play about with!

Not sure if it would make quality worse, im after a fish eye lens and wide angle!!

Have you been happy with yours then?

I like the moon pic how did you manage to take that which such detail?

I have just bought the Fz150, its a cracking bridge camera.
The only problems Im finding are:

1) iAuto mode - cant shoot in RAW, only jpeg
2) iISO & iAuto together creates very slow shutter speeds and tries to keep the ISO down... hence why you are probably getting a lot of blurred shots.
I cant find a way to do anything about this - which is a shame.

Example, the other day I was outside in fairly bright (winter in UK) lighting during the middle of the day. The camera was choosing ISO100 and 1/30th shutter speed, and this was at 620mm zoom - no wonder I couldnt get a non blurred shot!
Manually over-riding this was required to up the ISO in order to get a faster shutter speed.

Coming from a 5Dmk2, I think nothing of upping the ISO to whatever I need, but with the Lumix I find anything over 400 is pretty horrible - and this really limits your shutter speeds - again, this isnt really the camera's fault, its more the design of a small sensor bridge camera.

Ideally you want to keep ISO's to max 400, and try to shoot wide open in order to get fast shutter speeds, DoF doesnt really apply here either

Hi I am new to photography and have just purchased the fz45, looking at your pics I notice you have the bokeh kind of effect with one of then, would you be so kind to tell me how you achieved this effect. Thank you.

Some nice shots there guys. I'm still using my Panasonic FZ7 from 2006 as my bridge camera, but I cannot fault it. I've never had a problem with it and even though its nearly 6 years old it still takes fantastic pictures.
I'm very tempted to upgrade it to a newer model as this one is only 6mp, but as its still working so well, I wonder if its worth it.
