Thanks ill keep looking for the Rovelight if not might import
no idea about Octa's though
But again, why a C stand rather than a decent standard light Stand?
I appreciate they're heavy and great for a boom, but also... They're heavy and a PITA to store compared to a standard light stand.Phil I have one because it allows me to boom the light directly above the camera without issue, something that is much harder to do with a traditional light stand

I think if I had a permanent studio I could become fetishistic about grip kit, it plays to my engineering roots, but for a 'sometimes' lighting photographer I don't have the storage space.
Well then there are definitely better options available. A couple of better tuned long tail sync options, and some genuine HSS options.mainly want to use HHS and 600WS and the battery im intrested for the Rovelight , also see that Jinbea etc and others im also looking at.
I plan to sandbag the hell out of the C stand due to wind etc as i want to use it out and about.
I do like wishlistskeeps me set for things to buy!

If I was starting now, I'd definitely have a look at the Godox AD600, I think it's better than the Rovelight in every single way.
And if you're planning on carrying the stand any distance, a C stand is seriously asking for more hassle than it's worth.
I've done a stand, remote flash and camera bag over rough terrain and up hills, and if I'd had a C stand to take, i'd have left it behind![]()
Just saw that at Essential Photo and wondered if you'd seen it.The remote head leads are now becoming available via Amazon & EBay for the AD600 so the head weight is vastly reduced
Mike
where in the UK can I buy ...
Rovelight 600B
Avengers C stand
And a 5ft Octa??
Or alternatives etc?
Essential Photo have them with the Pixapro branding.Sorry for jumping in, but does anyone in the UK stock Godox Wistro AD600B, also the Godox Wistro AD360II-N?
I can only find Chinese suppliers.
