New Lens

I have the Nikon 200-500 lens and i am looking for another lens with a wider aperture like a f2.8
so i wondered if any one on here could recommend what i should look at , maybe a 300mm but is there much difference
from the sigma to a Nikon? thank you in advance

Nikon 300f2.8 or the Sigma 120-300f2.8, both very goid lenses. Considering selling my 120-300 at some point to try the 200-500 and the 300f4 E PF.

do you think primes are sharper and auto focus faster than the zooms

Yeah the better primes do but dont offer the flexability of the zoom. I have had my 120-300 for about 9-10 years and still not sure if i will let it go ir just keep it and buy the others i mentioned as well- time will tell.
