It's time I replace my old but very reliable Dell laptop. I've upgraded her as far as she'll go and even though the SSD drive made a huge difference many years ago the RAM limit and processor is now restrictive for anything other than very basic stuff.
Whilst I normally avoid PC World, I came across this laptop and on the face of things it seems like a rather good deal. RAM is a bit low but it's expandable to 32GB should it become an issue. Only the lightest of gaming so no graphics card needed but it's mainly for business use and some light photo processing. It's the first time I've come across Optane but after reading up it would seem it's more beneficial for older mechanical hard drives rather than SSDs.
What do you think, a good deal or not? Here's the link and the spec below in case the page disappeared, all thoughts greatly appreciated:: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/compu...el-core-i5-256-gb-ssd-white-10198277-pdt.html
