Folks, I'm looking to replace a Lenovo laptop which I've used for editing for the last few years but its starting to lag and I'd like something a little more svelte! I'm mainly looking for something for browsing, Photoshop and quite light gaming (graphics wise) seen as I now have a PS4.
My current laptop has got good RAM (16GB and dedicated graphics which seems to be rarer now than it was 3 years ago when I bought it!) and has been fine performance wise but I'd like something a little lighter now.
I had my heart set on a Macbook Pro, probably a 13" until I started reading reviews of the Dell XPS 13 and XPS 15 which appear to be better value for money and would save a switch to Mac OS.
The XPS 13 looks like a great alternative to the 13" MBP although not a huge difference price wise, the XPS 15 with what looks a stunning screen and also has the dedicated graphics card (which might be good for some light gaming), it would appear that a 15" MBP would be £2k to get a dedicated GPU which seems nuts!
I just wondered if anyone has either of the Dells and could comment on them?
