New Laptop - Any suggestions - Budget £400-£450

After nearly 5 years my Dell Inspiron has finally packed up. Thankfully the harddisk is intact which is a big relief.

Was looking around and found a few HP with i5 processors on Currys website going for £399. Linky

Had few comments about HP not holding up or for £399 could get a bit more ommmphh with the specs.

Does anyone has a better suggestion?

Not bad for the price. Put the £50 left over from your budget to a decent backup solution

I bought one of those for my wife. Seemed to be the best combination of processor, RAM and HDD space for the money. Build quality seems ok too. Has an optical drive as well which many laptops don't.
