Hi all hope your all well.

Start off, I like to tether my camera into Lightroom when i am setting up my lighting in studio.

I have just purchased a new laptop an Acer 5755 and bought Lightroom 4. got everything working great but i can't get my D7000 to Tether in lightroom. i have also tried Camera Control Pro 2 but it won't show up in there either. I is however showing up in My Computer and i can access both SD cards from in there. I have tried 3 different cables but nothing. It worked fine on my old laptop which had the same version of windows.

Anyone got any suggestions?

No real idea- but my first thought would be to ask if you are running it through a USB3 port as some versions of that model have them?

USB 2 devices work on USB 3 hosts and USB 3 devices should work on USB 2 hosts but at lower transfer speeds. So I don't think that's your problem. Im not 100% sure with cameras (I cant remember from when I installed mine) but if a driver was installed when you plugged the camera in it might be worth trying to reinstall it.

I love you Pablo, you just made me alot less stressed. Worked like a charm. Had to remove the driver twice but it worked the third time and is now working in Lightroom :)

Thanks Guys
