I was about to sell all my canon DSLR kit, in fact i did sell most of it, and i was going to go back to shooting film and invest in a decent film scanner. No more cropped sensor nonsense, better depth of field control, bigger viewfinder etc., but then i thought, hang on, £500 on a scanner or £1200 on a 5D.....


























....no-brainer really.:D

What will you do with it when you find it though DF? Give it a polish and pop it back in its case?! :p
 
I hope you didn't sell all the lenses!
 
Tom...that round looking plastic wheely bit on the front comes off and then you're supposed to stick an 85L in the hole it leaves...b****r charging the battery.

well, I just collected a Nikon coolscan 8000 for 500 quid........



still got the 5d too !
 
kept a 50mm and the 24-70. sold my flash and 10-20. was going to sell them all cos my film camera is a pentax.

the 50mm is what i use all the time on my film camera, havent got any other lenses for it, so not sure if ill even use the 24-70 that much. we'll see, it may be up for sale again soon
