So my current desktop keyboard is slowly dying. Keys are uneven and its feeling the years. I currently have a Logitech G15 and have loved it for the years ive had it...

But its time for a change and to replace it with a new model.

So, what's out there that your using? Budget about £60....

Hit me...

thing is keyboards are a very personal thing, some feel really nice to some and horrid to others.

personally i use a bogo Dell USB at work and a Logitech DiNovo Edge at home, both at completely opposite ends of the budget but i love both.

best bet is to get down PC world or wherever and try some out for size and feel!

Wireless, solar powered rechargeable, £69.99 less 20% for trading in your old keyboard (they give you a prepaid returns lable). I've had one for a few months now and love it, it sits in a pretty dark room all the time and has never dropped below about 95% power.

/Edit - the illuminated one Stormcrow talks of is the same price with the same discount.

I'm using an IBM Model M. It's 24 years old now and still going strong. Quite simply the best computer keyboard ever made.

Managed to pick a few up from junk shops, some are better than others (the later Lexmark made ones with the integrated cable don't have the same quality action of the keys)

I wondered if anyone would mention a model M. I have a Filco Majestouch which seem about the best modern day equivalent. Not cheap, and the lettering is prone to come off (only printed on and I've already lost the A and part of the up arrow).

I do have a custom red ESC key for added geekness ;) :D (I used to have a red PANIC key too, but can't remember where that is...)

I have a G15, I think my next keyboard will be a mechanical one but they are kinda pricey.

That does look nice :)

I bought This recently when my wired KB died.

It has all the keys in the proper place, they haven't messed with the function keys like Microsoft do and best of all, a proper inverted "L" [Enter] key. :D

Just under £12 delivered....

Over the years I think I must if had every new keyboard going. In the end I got a bog standard dell one from a mate best keyboard I have ever owned. Won't be splashing out again
