im in need of a new job something that is more money then I'm currently on for the stupid hours and hard work i have to do to earn a very basic living .

I'm pretty much in a place where i need to be out low pay , been treat like garbage and getting abuse from a another employee ( been looked into ) and management are useless too.

i have no idea what i can go into but was looking at something more outdoors , driving

any one else been in same place as me and no idea where to turn job wise

i have just applied for a meter reading job as i think that would be ideal but not guaranteed that.

any suggestions on what job i could do , I'm currently 31 and only have a qualification in motor vehicle trade which I'm not going back to

I don't really have an advice about what job you should do, my only advice would be not to leave your current role until you find something new to do. Perhaps start what you want to do part-time (I know you said you do long hours already) to see if you like it. The grass is not always greener and all that.

Try and work out a plan. Decide on what you want to do, then look at how you could get there. Write it out (personally I find writing things out makes things clearer in my head).

Do you have time / money etc to retrain, do you want to start off in a junior role hoping to work your way up. Forget qualifications, what skills do you have - experience is as valuable, if not more so, than qualifications.

Finally good luck!

i don't physically have any money thats a big downside I'm trying support family with 2 kids and any spare cash goes on them or food only got paid last friday and already no cash until the 15 of next month

im not intending to leave until i have a new job

my current job in physical i walk alone around the warehouse around 10 miles a day according to my phone lol and then we turn over chipboard flooring for caravans around 56 kg if not more on some of them , most ads are on around £8 a hour I'm still on crap pay and work hard then most other people on better money hence why i want out

i will put in effort and work my butt off thats not a issue but when i feel I'm been treated like a mug then thats the end of that for me

Sales? Work hard and you can earn well but it is pressurized and security is less than many jobs. Happy to advise via pm if you want to ask any questions or want advice.

It's not for everyone but easy to get into without qualifications.

If not surely there are many other warehouse type jobs in the local rag. Just make sure you cv is up to date and spell checked etc.

And also remember that it's easier to get a job when you already have one...whatever it is.
Good luck.
I left what I'd thought was the job of my dreams, to go to one which paid much less, and II've never regretted it.

I'm in the same boat, though I'd gladly take your motor vehicle qualification as that's what I want to do, but I can't get the qualification within 50 miles, which would mean moving, which is why I want the qualification so I can move and get a proper job in the first place!

Why dont you want to stay in the motor trade?

As Simon says, sales could be a good move if you want to be mobile, but there are other field tech opportunities out there depending on just how versatile you are. Have you welding experience for example? You could try those Industrial Door companies who i've seen advertise roles for up to £25k.

your obviously working in a warehouse ,can you not ask to be trained on the fork lift truck driving there or even apply for a course in that somewhere that does the training ,my grandson is only 20 and earns in excess of £400 a week on the fork lifts .the other thing i can't quite get my head round is you say you turn over chipboard flooring for caravans ,as far as i,m aware caravans have flooring made of a plywood/foam/plywood sandwich its a industry standard ???
