New iPad 4

Well I had an iPad 3 with a retina display then a few months later they brought out an upgraded one and stopped using numbers. So I flogged it in disgust and got a vastly better, imo, nexus

Apple have always had model numbers for each release (which are inscribed on the back of the iPad). It's always been Axxxx for all models so far.

For example:
iPad mini Wi-Fi A1432
iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular. A1454
iPad mini Wi-Fi + Cellular (MM) A1455

iPad (4th generation) Wi-Fi A1458
iPad (4th generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular A1459
iPad (4th generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular (MM) A1460
iPad (3rd generation) Wi-Fi A1416
iPad (3rd generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular (VZ) A1403
iPad (3rd generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular A1430

iPad 2 A1395
iPad 2 (CDMA model) A1397
iPad 2 (GSM model) A1396
iPad (Wi-Fi) A1219
iPad (Wi-Fi + 3G) A1337

But Nexus :shake: just no ;).

I bought the iPad3 but have used the 4th Generation one. There is effectively no difference, it is supposed to be faster but I couldn't see any difference in my limited use (the 3rd generation one is quick enough for what I was doing). I have the cellular version but I am on O2 with no EE around here anyway so the faster cellular access doesn't apply for me but the main issue for me is the use of the smaller dock connector. I have an IODock so the 4th one would be no use to me anyway. I'm more than happy with the 3rd one.
