New holiday tripod

Hi I have been looking for a good tripod to take on holiday I have a 40D and a tamron 18-270 lens.

Try the Velbon Ultra Maxi or Luxi range, I have a Luxi and my daughter a Maxi, excellent small and lightweight tripods that are surprisingly solid too

Get one with the largest diameter legs you can, adds that little bit more stability, mine happily takes a 40D with 70-200mm f/4 lens

Thanks for that I have just looked at them and I fancy the Velbon Ultra Maxi-m it ranges from £59 - £102 need to do a bit more research before I buy. Once again thank for that.
