Hello everyone,

I have owned my Canon 350d for nearly 2 years now and although I have had a large amount of use i've never had the time or money to put into anything else so now that I have just recently finished my Degree I am hoping to have both the time and money to expand my equipment.

As mentioned I currently have a Canon 350d with Kit Lens and 50mm F1.8 Prime.

Over the next few months i'll be looking for a new lens.

I generally take pictures of stationery cars for me and my friends however I am really intrigued into Portrait photography.

Anyhow, hoping to find out some useful info here and help me ensure that my next lens is a good buy!

stationary cars...?
you mean at rally's and exhibitions etc as in collectable and vintage..
portraits can be just as much fun meeting and talking to people than just photographing them

More as in cars parked up ie. taking pictures of friends cars or similar to what you mentioned cars at an event.

Portrait does sound good fun.
