Hi folks,
Just a very brief introduction after being directed here by Finlee. I'm an old SLR 35mm guy, I used to take quite a few photos during my hill walking days. Although nothing special.
Other than using a cheap Kodak compact digital for quick snaps when on holiday etc I've not kept up with the digital age (probably the only area I've remained a tech dinosaur!!).
I've been cogitating for way to long about getting back into photography & buying a DSLR but due to my other hobby (guitar) and its known affliction of GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) have kept a distance between my wallet and a camera!
However about two weeks ago I took the plunge after seeing a deal for the Nikon D5000 + 2 lenses at Jessops.
So here I now am & I'm confused
. I'm sure it was easier when I had a SLR & exposure meter.
