New HDD for my iMac

I am filling up my internal hard drive constantly and think its about time to have a dedicated drive for my photos.

I already have a 2 WD Books connected (1 is for video and 1 is for time machine), but want another now, what do people recommend?

I would like one that doesn't restrict performance too much, I have usb2 and a firewire (800mb) connection.

I ave a couple of LaCie 2 TB FW800 drives attached to my iMac. These I find are faster than the USB 2 drives which I use for time machine etc. The Lacie drives are FW400/800 and USB 2 so you have a triple interface should you need to connect the drive to a machine without Firewire connectivity.

I have all my images and video content on these drives and have no problem with performance.

Another vote for FireWire here, especially as you can daisy chain them.

I noticed that about daisy chaining, that can come in very handy!
