Hi Guys,

Totally new to TP and hoping to stay around! I've been doing amateur photography for a number of years now and thought forums are a good place to learn new techniques and share my knowledge with others. :D

keep an eye out in the "meeting-place", there are a few north east meet-ups threatened over the 'summer' so far....if you fancy a few camera clicks and a pint
 
Hi Andy - nice to see some other Geordies on here. I'm new on here too, would it be cool for me to introduce myself in this thread as well?
I've only started taking photography seriously pretty recently, quite a few of my friends are into it and when I went around Europe with a couple of them, using their DSLR had me hooked. I would definitely consider myself amatuer - will aim to upload some of my shots so you guys can take a look. :)
