Hi all,

seems i got few emails from "James Greety" and his wife from Canada and they want to get wedding photographer for their daughter (surprise gift). Email looked strange for me. I have googled and found some information about this "James Greety":

they using @icloud.com domain for their emails.

anyone else started to get these emails? These guys work hard i think :)
 
I'm in a photography group on Facebook (Cole's Classroom) which seems to be mainly American photographers and they see a lot of requests like this as well as facebook messages from people wanting to book them and asking if they can pay in advance by credit card.
 
Looks like a scam, but what's the fuss about it? Surely someone should pay a deposit for such an event. You were supposed to get the money, not to pay anything... If you don't like to give them your bank details (which is fair enough!), they can pay by paypal gift. This way, they can't take the money back.
