Ok mine....

Chrome new layout but i can opt out
IE Old version, no opt in
running crappy vista

Clear your cache and cookies and see if it changes

It's strange how people are getting different results on the same or other browsers :shrug:

I'm running Windows 7 on my desktop with IE9 (as I need the 32bit version for other sites as well as 64bit) and I can't get the new layout, either beta version or anything else, but I'm running Windows 8 on my laptop and I was asked if I wanted to try the beta version on that so I gave it a try and TBH I don't mind it either way. I soon found most of the bits I use on the beta version but I did have a problem with sharing a file so thanks for the '2 arrows' tip further up, I'll try that next time.

It may well be the version of IE that other people are using that decided whether you can get the new version, but I have noticed the amount of views I have received since the beta version came out has dropped off a lot. I went from an average of nearly 300 views a day to around 15 views a day since it changed (apart from 1 day when I got 720 views and another when I got 256 views). I've just tried clearing the cache and cookies after signing out and then rebooted the computer to see if I could get the beta version, but it still comes up the same as it used to again, I'm sure it must have something to do with your browser version.

Mine was showing the new sharing panel properly a couple of days ago, but now it's decided to do this too, both Chrome and Safari (current versions).

Mine was hiding the sharing panel earlier, but now works properly. No opt out, so it must be the final version. Win 7, Chrome.

Firefox and IE still show the old version

played with the new one for a couple of days then went back to the old its way more easy to navigate /share etc cheers mike.
 
Share code all in view here now although i do have the option to opt out still, not going too as i quite like it

i think it was time limited to about 30 days like i said tried it didn't like it so reverted back before it became permanent

I was on the old layout until about 2 days ago when it updated all by itself. I did try the new layout a while back, but opted out after a day or two.

As I said, I can live with the new layout, so not really bothered

No idea what's going on here, but my Flickr looks nothing like this. Mine hasn't changed for months.

Yours is the old version. Not sure how they decided who gets the new version and who not, but for me, Chrome shows the new version, Firefox and IE shows the old like yours.
This is all on the same PC running Windows 7.
 
I opted in to the new one a couple of months back but then opted out. Still showing the old one on Firefox.
 
Does anyone know if you can opt in if you've already opted out? I said no to it a while back but having seen the new version I really like it and want to try again but can't seem to find out how to do it!
 
It's the same for me no matter what browser I use. Still on the old one... which if fine by me.. that new one looks a nightmare.

Only if it says you can in the bottom left of the screen.... i opt in and out whenever i want at the moment, although now they've fixed the share screen i haven't really felt the need to go back, some say once they've opted in they can't go back so i'm assuming they are doing it all in stages maybe

I thought that at first, but I stuck with it and now I like it. Seems better thought out than the old one. Think everyone is going on it sooner or later, whether you like it or not!!!
 
Why I really hate this new layout, is having to click on so many things to read comments or leave feedback or this or that than before, it was just mostly all on one page

Agreed. How is having to click through more stages in any way progress? On the old system, there was a text box already there... waiting for my comment. :) It's form over function.
 
On the new layout I can't see who favoured (star) my images, I can see the number but not the list or people. Anyone know how ?
This is very frustrating!

Open image from photostream, bottom left under image in blue, 'joe blogs added this photo etc'
 
Have you tried clicking on the 'favourite' icon on the right? (star & #1)that used to bring up who had faved it.

No i can't see where either, only place i can see briefly is recent activity but that's pants

I don't get that on mine... there is nothing under my image on either side nor an ability to minimize image, it's large and stays large

Hmmm just tried the ' Beta Version' same as shows on your link and screenshot and I cant get it either! Gone back to the earlier version.
Not good is it? Looks like it hasnt been finished yet so maybe these will be added later?
 
I can only get the old layout on Safari, which is a pain to keep swiching to

firefox update must have done something - took me to the non-working new layout pages with no option to opt out.
Cleared cache again and relogged in and the option appeared, so one quick click later, back to a working older version...


Seems like a beta release, with bits that just don't work.
 
Well I've just turned on my PC for the first time in a few days and for the first time in a few weeks I've open flickr and got the options to use the new flickr...opted in and it works perfectly....select the in Pin symbol...the size file and copy the code and sure enough it embeds perfectly
 
And now I have the old layout back with opinions to try the new one :shrug:
