Since we've had the "New" Flickr I've found that it doesn't always seem to record the views on stats

Here on 12 June and again on 29 June - it's showing I've not had a single view, although on the actual days in question views were showing :cuckoo:

Anyone else suffered this?

Also, I'm getting loads more views from "Unknown Source", but when I google the images in question, I can't find them anywhere :shrug:

Any ideas?
 
12 Jun also shows none on mine, 29th there were plenty though.

The source indicator has always been a bit iffy especially when the link comes from dynamically created pages.
 
I've had the "no views on a particular day" showing on the graph happen to me before the recent Flickr overhaul, but not since.
 
Actually, that is weird, I had a peak on the 12 & a massive one on the 29th :shrug:
And one of them, was an internet souce, when I ran the name through Google
it looked like the Japanese version of fleabay,
but with none of my images used.
Doubly weird :shrug:
 
No views at all on the 29th June. 3 July a huge amount of views for me, its usually somewhere around a 100 views a day, 3 July was 1200
 
I have one image that has suddenly had over 38000 views, since 29 June [its an image that has been there for over a year and is just a snap of one of our cats], about 99% from unknown referrer, and again, whilst I can find where its been linked, loads on tumblr for example, can't find anything else that I can't trace as showing in the referral stats anyway. :shrug: :thinking:

Its peaked on 29th/30th June with 11 and 13 k views, but every day since then, between 2 and 4k views... just that one photo mind...
 
Glad to see it's not just me that Flickr is messing around then - I was begining to get a bit of a complex :lol:

So annoying not to know where the views are coming from though :(
 
I think they have messed it up, its put me off photography for a bit I wish they had left it alone.

Besides if you don't like Flickr (anymore) there are plenty of other hosting sites
out there, including right here, on your very own TP gallery space

I thought I might update this with the latest on that one photo that is making flickr stats look awesome :lol:

:eek: I mean seriously?!?! Now, either that image has gone almost viral in an email somewhere, but I doubt an email would have a direct link back to my flickr, or Flickr stats are seriously wonky. :nuts:
 
My stats are also all over the place. Uploaded a photo yesterday evening.
Stats today say the following.. 2 so far today, 10 yesterday, 79 all time.
Now I know I'm not a Maths Proffessor but I'm sure 2 + 10 = 12. Not 79 :lol:
 
My stats show as 0 for 29/07 but clicking on it shows 635
