Maybe I'm wrong but although you have always said that Lencarta are s-fit, I don't recall you ever commenting about it so
specifically, whilst implying that other brands (oh I wonder who....
) may not be proper s-fit.

Reality check:
There are businesses that do things properly and there are others that cut corners. That may or may not happen in your accountancy world, but it most certainly does happen in the world of manufacturing.
Some people obey the rules and some don't.
Some people have the capability, some don't.
Some people have high standards, others don't even know what standards are.
I wasn't referring to any particular brand, there are several lights out there sold under various names that don't have the fitting they claim to have and in fact although I did mention S-fit I was thinking about others too, and specifically accessories that are sold that are supposed to fit Elinchrom but which don't.
Whenever I happen to make a comment about quality standards in studio lighting you always seem to immediately jump to the defence of someone who I haven't attacked
In a previous post, (from memory) you assumed that I was having a go at you for being naive and promoting the brand you bought even though that one name is the total sum of your own experience. In fact, I was thinking of a much larger and much more successful business in the US, which grew at a fantastic rate based almost entirely on forum recommendations from people who had never used any products other than theirs. If I wanted to be nasty, I would have said that anybody who had any real experience of lighting would compare those lights with others of different makes and would have advised people not to buy them - but I didn't say that, I just mentioned that the loudest voices are often from the people who know the least, and

I answer questions about lighting on this forum, whenever I feel that I have something useful to say. If you don't like what I say, either ignore me or report me to the admins. Don't guess at my motives, none of us are very good at guessing the motives of others.
ive have recently brought the elemental mkII genesis 3 head kit, and ive never looked back, the lit comes with loads of bits and also a nice and very sturdy padded kit bag which hold the lot.
