Has anyone else seen a noticable drop in AF performance since upgrading to the latest F/W? I have tended to use the 52-point system but I'm going to switch the 21 as for some reason it seems to be hunting a bit more recently on various lenses.

Could just be imagining it but I thought I'd ask.....

hi i havnt done mine yet but did you download both a and b upgrades ?

yeah did both and it worked fine, although it didn't like the MB-D10 attached it kept on saying that battery was too low to attempt upgrade despite both batts being full. Needless to say it worked flawless without.

This isn't a scientific based complaint, it's just that I experienced a fair amount of hunting on a recent holiday, even in day light, which is something I've not had a problem with previously.

kalibre,

Interesting comments there, would you mind telling which lens you've witnessed this with? Please note, I am not doubting what you say, only that when I did the upgrade of my, now sold, D300 I noticed - if anything - AF was better!

It's probably just me in that case, but I noticed with both the 18-200 and nifty. Trying to think of anything else that i've change but can't.

What the equivalent of pixel peeping with AF? Hunt aware? lol
