Hi everyone, I'm seeking some advice, I am looking for a new camera as I sold my Nikon D80 last year but now I really regret it. Anyway I am looking to buy a new camera. I not really bothered about video or live view, so can anyone reccomend anything. I'm even thinking about a second hand Nikon D80 on ebay. Please Help

Jon. Might help us to know your budget. Having been used to an SLR you've probably already got a pretty good idea of what to go for. Maybe look at D90 or D700 if budget allows, Lenses ? Leave that up to you. Your budget will have a big say here.
 
As Trevor already reccommended, the D90 and D700 are wonderful, and highly reccommended, cameras. If your budget is tight, you could even have a look at the D5000, a great camera that can be found for as little as £400, brand new with loads of equipment.
 
Thanks guys, I could stretch and go for the Nikon D300s which I really do like the look of. But I've been told its big and really heavy. Do you think buying a second hand D80 is a bad idea. My photography is wildlife and sports and as I am semi-retired I need to get back into my hobby.
 
The D90 is much, much better than the D80 and not that far off the D300 (D300 has bigger, heavier body as more for everyday pro use). If you want more than the D90, go for the D700 (full frame).
