hi, i have been doing photography as a hobby for the last few years, using beginner dslr's and an olympus om10, ive recently been thinking about getting a new camera.
as its just a hobby i cant afford to spend a fortune, but i have been looking on ebay and some other shops around my area.
i have been trying to decide whether it would be better to buy a slighty more expensive dslr or to buy an older more professional dslr, such as a fuji s2 or a nikon 1dh
i no the technology isnt as good in these older cameras and their pixels are lower but i dont often blow pictures up, and even then no bigger than a3, but would the resolution in these cameras be better resolution?
buying an older camera would also mean i had more money for lenses
i have also been thinking about buying a medium format, which is something i had a go with at college, i have been looking at mamiya rz67 or a cheap bronica, i would be spending as little as possible on a medium format, but i would like to have one to muck about with take some portraits and things, if anyone could give me some more info on medium formats that would be helpful, or some beginner medium formats?
sorry for the long post, but photography is an expensive thing to get wrong
