New boy with a Canon from Wolverhampton

Hi Guy's

Well I am hardly a boy as I had my 60th B/day a few days ago,I am interested in all things audio and visual and I see from looking around on here there are a few from my other refuge (av forums) so I hope that this is as nice a place to while away the hours:)

I have had a passing interest in photography for a number of years and I have used a Panny Lumix FZ5 up till fairly recently.That is till I found out my old 35mm film kit which comprised of a pristine Canon EOS 650 film camera with 2 zooms and flash + filters.

I then thought hang on I can still use most of this kit except the body so I went out and found a nice used 450d with kit lens and with the other zooms that I can use I have been snapping like a *** un for the last few weeks and am enjoying photography once again.

I still consider myself a learner having been away from this hobby for a long time and now have to learn a lot more with all this digital stuff (great init).

So a big hello from me and hopefully I will be here on a regular basis with what time I have available after my obligatory 2-3 hours a day at the other place.

Hi Dave it was sunny this morning mate but gone distinctly cloudy now, still the Denmark/Portugal game is coming on soon so I will be watching that.:)

Lovely county mate, but I prefer the green grass of home (Tettenhall) to the People's Republic of Redditch anyday :lol:
 
Tettenhall lad then, nice one I was Wolvo born and bred have lived all over the place including Florida and am now back home and glad of it too.:D
