New Bowens 400 gemini kit problems

Just set up my kit for the first time tonight and had a quick play. Everything was working fine with the sync wire and both heads were firing. I switched the lamp button over to lamp and i think it's blown the fuse. I'm a little concerned that it's happened within minutes and wondered if anyone knows why. I'm a complete novice and the kit is a birthday gift so if you've any tips or advice I'd appreciate it.

Are you sure it's not just in the modeling lamp off setting?

Bowens have off/proportional and full settings for the lamps.
Are both heads off?

If it's just one does the power light come on?

Thanks for your reply DF, not too sure at the minute. I need a quiet childless afternoon so I can set it all up again and have a play. Going on hols on Saturday, so it'll have to wait...bit gutted, but life always gets in the way lol!
