I have noticed that the battery is starting to get too low too quickly on my Moto G5 .....................yes, it depends on the amount of use but compared to when I got and managed 2 days before needing to be charged. I may be using a tad more ;) but I am having to charge it daily.

It is the GK40 battery, now though I can find what they say is OEM the picture does not always fully confirm that!

So, who have you used to buy OEM phone batteries and were you satisfied with the product and the suppliers service???
Edit ~ I have some IMO very loose interpretation of OEM....................to me that always meant the battery, in this case, would be a branded Motorola one but some sites talk of OEM and mean (without any qualifying statement or certification?) apparently made in the same factory as the Motorola ones???

TIA for any buyer/user insights :)

Thanks :)
I have had a look on the website and could not see any phone batteries.................power banks, chargers and related accessories but no batteries???

Sorry cannot help, but I am in a similar position with my G5, in addition to battery drain I am also having issues with wifi and mobile data. I am on O2 and a lot of time I am not getting 4g.

When I searched for a replacement battery I could not see one for ravpower or anker, so of the brands I have used before.

Will watch the thread to see what is suggested, or may have to upgrade. The G7 power is on offer at JL.

I found this on the Lenovo forum-
Hi!

We are sorry you are having problems with your battery. We never recommend buying batteries from 3rd party resellers. The best way to ensure, you get the original part is to send the device to an authorized service center.

Also, have you tried troubleshooting this issue?

I would recommend you testing the device in Safe Mode. Safe Mode reboots the device without any 3rd party applications being started.
To Enable Safe Mode, please try the following:

" Press the Power key
" Touch and hold Power off
" Touch OK when Reboot to safe mode appears
" Phone will reboot and Safe Mode will appear in bottom left corner
If you no longer experience the same issue in Safe Mode this would indicate that one of the 3rd party applications installed on the device is causing the problem. I advice you to remove one application at a time until the issue is solved.
To exit Safe Mode simply reboot the device.

Also a Battery Reset might help if there is an error in the Battery sensor. By doing a Battery Reset you will reset the sensor and the issue may be solved:

" With your device powered On, press the Power key for 20 seconds until the phone reboots
" When the phone is powering on again, connect the device to a Wall Charger
" Please charge the phone to 100% and leave it connected to the charger for a couple of hours after it has reached 100%

I will not be trying the safe mode test of apps but I am doing the battery sensor reset as made bold by me..................just in case that helps???

FWIW (touch wood) my WiFi and mobile data etc is fine and model is the G5 Dual SIM one, in case that is of any relevance.

Thank you for the above, will give it a go during the week. My one is the same one as your's and have tried both sim slots and have also go a new sim from O2 which did not solve the problems.
