Just found this forum and joined up!
New to photography even though I have had a D40 for a couple of years, decided now was a good time to get more into it and got myself a D3100 followed recently by a D7000. Looking forward to getting some pictures uploaded but still in the very early stages of actually using the kit I have. Be gentle

to TP! You've got some good kit and this is a friendly forum so you'll get plenty of advice if you need it. The Tutorials section here is a great read, and the Talk Basics forum is a good place to ask questions while you're starting out. Have fun!
