New 1D mark III

I think that will be an old price. Are they in stock?
 
At the Focus show last month, Jacobs were selling B-Stock 1D3 for £1299 at the end. I posted a thread on it here http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=210261

B-Stock is as-new demonstrators and refurbed returns. Basically mint, and with full 12 months Canon warranty. If you can't find any of those left, I would have thought mint used wouldn't be more than £1250 or so these days.

Looks like everything is against you getting one of these mate - must be an omen telling you to go for a mark IV instead :lol:

that the one on ebay? i got them down to 1150 but decided against it as the screen and various othe rbits looked |F'd up and had no coupler etc..
 
Strangely enough, been reading this weeks AP for the last 20 minutes or so and would you believe it
In their classifieds from a private seller is a MkIII, boxed with all bits unused for £1990, tel no was an outer London code

Maybe worth a ring
 
can it be fixed for that cheap? crikey, i thought it would be more, the rest of the body looked a bit F'd though in general.

I was close to buying it, instead went for one at £1400 in a fair better condition

The thought has been going through my head. But i'd have to get it on Finance. I like the idea of paying for something and its mine with no further payments so I think it'll have to be the 1D mark III. Besides the money I save can go towards a 70-200 mark II :thumbs:
 
We had 2 recently but both sold now. Ill keep an eye out in case another one come up.
