I actually thought your first set of photos were good for your first time.
Photography is an extremely satisfying past time, and once you learn how to control a shot exactly how you want it, using little bits of information you pick up from all over the place, you'll just want to keep on snapping
Try and make a habit of sharing your photos with people on here, perhaps posting a small selection of your favourites from each set, and then getting some feedback that you can take on board and learn from. Talk Photography and other photography forums are the only reason I can do what I can do (Not saying I am particularly good, but in the 2 years I have been into photography, I have certainly improved and learnt alot.)
Well i went out last night and just went in the car and had a look around a few places and came back with no pictures. I was pretty hacked off TBH as i was looking forwards to see what i could find and then use some funny angels but just didnt see anything .
Need to get myself down to Oulton Park for a bike trackday, As thats what got me into this hobby.
Agree totally. Most people throw a large percentage away that are not up to scratch and whats left is then played with in a photo programme. I would think that out of 100 pics taken i will have 10-20 that are worthy of uploading here and 1-3 are (in my opinion) really good!
I can't afford Photoshop yet so i'm using 'The Gimp' which i find a bit tricky to use but is very powerful and has a RAW editor for manipulating you RAW files if you choose to shoot in RAW format.
just play and learn! and above all, have FUN FUN FUN!
Also, just seen your Flickr and for a beginner you have some very good shot's there so well done you!
