Never have the camera at the right time!!!

Left the hide to come home to do some farm work, then had to walk the dogs, and saw

2 x American war planes
1 x bi plane
4 x buzzards flying above very low
1 x barn owl
Numerous amounts of kites
and then a fox crossing the stubble


all in the space of 40 minutes where was the camera,? back in the hide being guarded by fernface who is doing an all day session there and I was going to return later when work all done.

I think that's normal. I usually spot the most fantastic photos when I'm driving on a motorway or have decided to take a day out without the camera. I see it as part of the rich tapestry of life and nothing to do with Murphy and his rotten law
