Hi guys,

Need a quick solution off some of you more computer network experienced people. I have just move into a flat with 4 other people. The Internet in the flat is provided by Ethernet cable, we are also not allowed to add wireless routers so that is out of the question. Today we bought a wireless laser printer and I wanted to set it up on an ad-hoc network. I have it running fine for one laptop but if I try and add anymore laptops it won't let me do it. What is the easiest way to create a multiple laptop/printer wireless ad-hoc network?

Ad hoc is a one to one connection.

Presumably you're not allowed to connect any peripherals to the network? If so the only way to do it would be to have a stand alone router and connect everything to that. Obviously if you need the other network you'll have to disconnect and reconnect to that.
