Indeed... teach em young... (and if I am 100% honest, 12800 ISO on the DSLR will "wee" all over 800 ISO P&S..) and I speak as one who his 12 hour old daughter wee'd all over me...

Get used to it mate, that may have been the first time,
BUT no way will it be the last, I can assure you :D

Huge congratulations to both of you.

They're absolutely beautiful and Sharon looks like she's doing really well too. Hopefully you'll have them all home with you soon.

Just going to see if I can work out how to find you on Facebook, so I can have a look at some more.

Congratulations!

Congrats! It will be from here on in that you realise that photos are all about memories, not technical perfections. Not that you will take photos of anything but the kids for some time! ;)

Hi Lynton,

What a beautiful family!.....the photos are gorgeous!

Sorry I didn't come across this thread earlier, nonetheless so pleased to hear all went well and the complications that your "better" half experienced weren't too severe.

All the best to you all......and good luck! lol

Just seen this thread, congratulations, glad everyone's OK. ..xxx

Just seen this too! Fantastic news guys! You're going to love being a dad, mate. We'll be down to meet them next summer when you're settled in a bit.

I know technically they are poo, with things growing out of heads / distracting backgrounds etc... and when we get home I will plan things a lot better in order to get better pics... these are more memories / keepsakes than serious photography, however a few people on here have asked to see more pics of Samuel and Amelia... so here you go...

Thought I would try out the NikSoft High Key Conversion - interested in peoples thoughts on the conversion... I know compositionally wise it isn't the best.

A very confused looking Sam - conversion through PS.

"Think I prefer the taste of my sisters arm, instead of that 'boobie juice' you keep giving me!"

Grandad (Sharon's dad) and granddaughters first cuddle. I am sure it is one of many.

On a more serious note, Sharon lost a lot of blood during the op and had 2 x blood transfusions this morning, to raise red blood cells and Fe levels. You could literally see her improve every 5-10 mins. Obviously no way to do it personally but a huge thankyou to those 2 kind anonymous donors... which reminds me I am due to go and give an armful soon...

Many congratulations to you and your wife Lynton

Cheers Keith....

Been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster.. these last 48 hours...

however pleased to announce that all 3 are now doing fine (Problems were with Mum and over heavy blood loss during the c sec....) Me being me, had a quite blank and front conversation with the Snr Registrar.....

"Hey, would it be a better idea to fix the problem now, than discuss how it happened in the first place" On reflection , I was probably a bit harsh, and what I did say was probably a bit ruder than that mentioned above, but felt I had a point that needed to be put across as all they were interested in was the medical record of what needed signing by who when and why... "not my fault"

Promise me you aint hanging your kids up with clothes pegs :rules: Congrats to both of you
You are now entitled to post your pics in the Snap Happy Pappy Crappy Nappie section :D
