a couple of weeks ago i took some pictures of my nieces daughter, fortunately i had good natural light as i took them outside.
however, recently the childs father has asked me to take a number of different pics of him and daughter, him daughter and partner, him and friends and him and his brothers.
my problem is that he wants these taken at his house but i have NO lighting only on camera flash!
as im limited to cash at th mo i cant aford to buy any lighting. he's suggested using work lights but i know these arent very good as ive tried before with them.
i know natural light is best and maybe trying t use reflectors is an idea, but does anyone have any ideas *** is the best options i have other than to decline.
all help is much appreciated and thanks in advance jase

I took some of my friends kids, without lighting, we positioned them by a large window in a bright room with light background and even put a sheet up as a back drop and they came out really well, maybe have a reccy round his house and see if theres any large windows and stuff you can use?

Where are you based if you dont mind me asking?

Never used them before but a quick Google search shows a couple of links
that maybe of use.................

i did the same a few weeks ago when i was doing some work at someones house, i used light from a window a black blind as backdrop and camera flash, they came out quite nice and they were pleased with them!!
i posted them a couple of weeks ago but if you have time check them out in people and portraits thanks jase

At least with family you can wait for a nice light day to do the shoot. You can make reflector from card and tin foil if you need them.

Think about converting the pictures to black and White for greater impact.
