I seem to have a problem with viewing nef files in adobe bridge, it doesn't open them. I have the nikon D610 and used it for the first time today shooting in raw. I have updated all my software and still having problems. I'm using a mac. Hope you can help me:help:
 
When software is concerned you need to be completely specific about the version you are using otherwise it's needle in haystack territory. If you are on an older version of bridge then adobe updates will only recognise NEF files up to a point before they stopped supporting that version and you will need to upgrade to a later version of ps/bridge. Not sure on the D610 but if same as D600 then needs ACR7.3 minimum which is CS6 not CS5.

If you are on CS6 then could be a number of things- best to check with adobe support
 
Using CC so should be ok and I've just up dated everything else
 
mmm... no experience of CC I'm afraid- have you got bridge's file association type in it's preferences as photoshop CC?
