need the Sepia Effect

ok so im using gimp under ubuntu & i need a simple way to give my pictures a Sepia Effect & then being able to adjust the exposure... thank you :thumbs:
 
ive tried that, but for some reason, it seems like i lost some of the tools in the gimp.. close them once and never saw them again (where the layers info is)

sounds like you closed the tools bar, check the tools drop down and open tools. :thumbs:
 
I did that once in Gimp a while back (before I returned to the dark side of windows). Took me ages to work out what I had done and then felt like such a fool.

i still dont know how to get them back! haha. i guess the question is now "how do i get the tool box" back? i found a video that helped a lot on youtube showing how to do the sephia effect
 
Nae bother at all.

Its what makes this place what it is. A great place to learn and get advice on almost anything and a friendly place to boot.
