I'm sitting here wondering how I've managed to avoid knowing that for 51 years. Maybe not in my lifetime, but sooner or later there'll be a GCSE in "Asian anal follicles", mark my words.
I went to the docs on Tuesday for a checkup. Looks like it's fully healed. The nurse gave it the all clear, although I have some cream that I need to apply to that area for a few days. I've also got to wax it now and then... which I'll of course have to do myself. I'm not keen on causing pain voluntarily.
So what should have taken 3 months to heal ended up taking around 9 months, 3 courses of antibiotics, around 100 compress dressings and a lot of prodding and poking by the nurse.
The funny thing is though, I've gotten so used to wiping forwards that I don't really want to go back to backwards.
