Do any of you play cricket and fancy a match on Sunday in Epsom, at Epsom College? I am photographing the day as I know one of the charity's Fund raisers.
To explain briefly, one of the charities supporters [The Childrens Trust btw, they run a rehabilitation centre for kids with brain injuries] was at a big city dinner later last year and bid in an auction to play a match alongside ex-England cricketer Phil Tufnell. The match, a T20 format game, has been scheduled for this Sunday, 29th June, and the chap got in touch with the charity a while back and suggested that it be thrown open to spectators at a fiver a ticket to help raise more money. Great idea, but of course this is the middle of the cricket season and they are struggling to make up a full two teams and a couple of reserves. So, they are desperate for anyone that has half an idea of how to play to join the ranks - this has not been helped by the fact no one within the charity really knows much about cricket and has any real cricket contacts. So, I have offered to put the word out too and see if I can get anyone along that knows how to hold a bat or has a vague idea of how tochuck bowl a ball.
So, if you fancy a bit of hit and giggle cricket, regardless of your level of skill, and meeting Tuffers, please let me know so I can pass your details on to the organisers.
Note: not breaking any forum rules about charities, not asking for money, just players who might fancy coming along for a game

don't worry, I am Middlesex member, so yes, done a LOT of Lords, hence this was the perfect match for me. I can shoot the actual playing, but the pro side of me can do all the general event stuff, portriats etc too.
