Hi,

I'm shooting my second wedding in the next month or so, just wondering if theres any tips on getting great reception photos.

I currently don't own a off body flash, is this something I really should invest in before the wedding as I am not 100% confident in using them.

Any other advice on your best do's and don'ts at a wedding would be greatly appreciated aswell

What do you feel is lacking in your photographs at the moment? There's little point in buying equipment because you saw a youtube video suggesting the 'essentials of wedding photography' etc. I have always found, my best shots come from the equipment I am most familiar with. A off camera flash could help, in the right circumstances.

Just feel my low light work could benefit from it. Or would you suggest using the built in flash

If you are asking that I hope that this isn't paid work.

Do have a spare camera
Don't forget to have a secure back up regime

I always get a little worried when I read posts like this.

Personally I would never agree to do an important job like a wedding - unless I was 100% confident that I knew what I was doing.

I hope you are insured!!

As you're advertising yourself as a wedding photographer it may be a good idea to have more than 2 wedding related images in your portfolio on your website.

Just saying
