Yes
Been looking at wireless router as mine is on last legs with constant dropouts.

As mac household have looked at the airport extreme, but is very pricey.

I understand 5ghz in no desirable (can someone explain to make sure I understand it right), and I also would like a usb to be able to hook up my printer or Ext HDD to it.

I want the best performance, easy set up with a mac, PS3 & Wii.

I use iplayer a bit as well as looking into love film online and gaming.

Basically I want speed and reliability with ease of use but have no idea about routers and what makes on better than the other.

Cheers as always!

Budget up to £100 max max

I'm interested in some of the responses here.......

I've recently cahnged over to Wireless N - both Router and wireless adapter.... 2.4ghz

but when the Microwave is on - it drops the signal......

With the newer 5ghz - what type of adpater would you use ?

Is it the transmitter element that sets the ghz ?

Cheers

SO netgear are an alternative then. Anything else? We are an all Mac household so that may make a difference?

Makes no difference mac/linux/windows. Dreytek has a few decent options, not necessarily within your price range though
