need help

i am new(ish) to digital photography & have hit a problem with my lumix fz200.
i have been uploading my pix to my pc all ok untill on trying yesterday to upload as usual this happende i connected the camera to my pc as usuual, the screen appeared telling me to select pict bridge or pc, selected pc, the screen then went black with the word ACCESS appearing, i cannot shift this & can not upload. help needed

Have you tried the suggestions given in the troubleshooting section of the manual? (very top of page 217)

go to my computer on your pc
your camera should show as a storage drive drag and drop your pics from there or if you and sd card reader slot use that to get your pics
