Need help with scouting locations near/around Snowdonia for an engagement shoot

title says it all really,

I have a client who really loves the idea of taking their engagement photos in snowdonia, brilliant idea i thought if it weren't for the fact that the area is massive!

so i thought who best than the good folks on here to lend a helping hand with some suggestions.

I am really looking for interesting places e.g. beaches, caves, rivers, lakes, castles etc. Anything you good people can suggest would be good help.

If the client wants Snowdonia, I would guess they would be familiar with it? Maybe research some suggestions from them?

We were there yesterday and the Swallow Falls near Betws-y-Coed were in full spate, an awe-inspiring sight (and sound). I don't know if they allow commercial photography there though (or rather, how much!). There are surely stacks of other falls not too far away from the road (again depending on the clients).

You could park at Pen-y-Pass (?) and walk in towards Snowdon on the Miner's track, go as far as the lakes, there's got to be potential there.

For something different, Harlech Castle is amazing, so is Conwy Castle (and the Conwy walls), many others I'm sure.
