I'm receiving this message while trying to export files to a subfolder from Lightroom 4 to my desktop (MacPro)

Your disk “Unknown Volume”, to which you are exporting images, is low on space.
Please remove files or empty the trash to make at least 10 MB available before proceeding.

I can't locate the "unknown volume disk." Any help appreciated!

Just answered in the other thread you first posted this problem in and reproduced below by edit:

I suggest you forget what you may have been trying to do and do the following:
While in Lightroom, in Library mode, go to Folders in the left hand pane, then to "Desktop", then right click and select "Create New Folder" and type in your chosen title.. Having created the new folder, go to your selected image or images in Library in Grid mode. Either right click on the selection and "Export", or go to the menu File/Export, which opens the Export Window. Choose the new folder you have just created in Desktop in the "Export to"/'Choose" option and after setting the other export parameters, it should send the files as required.
Note this process of creating a new folder must be done inside Lightroom and not in an external file manager if it is to be recognised by LR, otherwise you have to use import procedures to get LR to "see" the new folder.
Hope that helps.

Thanks, BrynBoru; however, I think that is what I've been doing all along. It still comes up w/the same message

Apologies for asking, but now when I look at what you've first written, can you please clarify exactly where you wish to export from and to where, as I'm a little confused as to whether the sub-folder you are targetting as the destination is in Desktop or elsewhere.

I suspect you are trying to export from the develop module. It's possible that the drive in question may not be recognised by the computer. i'd make a new export path to the drive and folder you are attempting to export to. Is this drive an external one or an internal one ?
