Need a photography project for christmas

Any suggestion for a photography project I can do over the Christmas holidays? I've got 2 weeks off school and I need a project that doesn't involve much travelling!

How about some still life or macro shots which you don't have to travel to do.

Or documenting the holiday break, looking at the celebrations, the emotions, the excesses etc maybe spend an evening taken some photos of people decorated homes/local town lights

Throw fruit or Christmas decorations through a wall of water (run a tap over a plastic sheet to get the water wall), use flash to freeze the slashes.

Or how about a photo essay around the homeless people of your local town?

Or light painting.

Or smoke trails
