Need a Photographer!

We are t rying to save some money on our wedding by hiring a cheaper photographer. Any ideas? Our wedding will take place in the Northwest WA.;)
 
So where is the wedding to be then?

Los Angeles
Washington
Savannah, Georgia
or New Delhi in India (Which is where you're posting from).

100 images @ £50 per image = £5000
50 hours processing @£20 per hour £1000

I can't believe you guys, this is an opportunity not to be missed. I'll pay £10k to get the gig, I reckon the film and book rights alone would be worth 10x that :nuts:
 
well i dont need the gig, iv got a email saying iv won $500000000, all i got to do is send £500.....to africa..... maybe when one of you guys go to the wedding you could drop the cash off for me......

I just don't understand why people having a wedding scrimp on the photographer and then pay £200 or so for a 10 min limo ride. The pictures will be with you forever they are one of the most important thing to have. Pictures are for life the limo and the meal are only for an hour or so. Get a cheap photographer,
do you know what it cost us as wedding photographers ?, a lot of bloody money.

I'll do it for 20p as long as you pay for all expenses incurred (including my food, drink, and gambling bill)

Thisphotoguy, why did you remove you post? everyone is entitled to their opinion, to a point I understood what you were saying but would have thought the job you said about would have paid the same or more
 
Can anyone explain to me exactly how this scam is supposed to work?
 
at a guess... you PM your details, they send you the money, which will be more than you've asked for, you then get asked to send the rest onto someone else (usually by western union), then the cheque turns out to be fake, and you get left with a big hole in your account.

Or... they could be looking for a wedding tog :D
 
Normally they send you a cheque for more than your fee and ask you to cash it and send the rest on to someone else. The cheque they sent you then bounces sometime later as it was stolen.
